Heart of the Matter: An Introduction to Eighteen South Australian Poets
Edited by Ioana Petrescu and Naomi Brewer Features interviews with eighteen prominent South Australian poets including Peter Goldsworthy, Jeri Kroll, Ken Bolton, Stephen Lawrence, Jules Leigh Koch, Cath Kenneally, Mike Ladd, Geoff Goodfellow, Graham Rowlands, Peter Lloyd, Shen, Martin Johnson, David Ades, Amelia Walker, Rory Harris, Jude Aquilina, Steve Evans and Tom Shapcott. UniSA students, 33 in total, chose these poets to appear in the book, met and interviewed the authors, wrote reflective and exegetical pieces, and also edited their own work. This publication is a credit to the Professional Writing students involved who have clearly demonstrated their ability to create a fantastic book. Megan Boyd, co-author of this website and recent graduate of UniSA features both as an author and the designer of the book's cover. This book is an original concept and is a remarkable read for anyone interested in South Australian poetry. Publication details: |
