From Poetry and Poetics Centre

The idea for this project is the brainstorm of our esteemed mentor Dr Ioana Petrescu. The University of South Australia cultivates many gifted Professional and Creative Communication students, and Ioana could see the need to showcase these extraordinary talents. The site was created to demonstrate these students' abilities: either in the form of book publications, writings or other creative challenges. It is a window that leads the audience through the exciting world of our university's projects and also allows you to take a personal peek at some of our shining students.

The Poetry and Poetics Centre reviews books that have either been published by students through the University, or outside publications that include our students as contributors. It provides links to exciting events such as student book launches and competitions while accommodating the audience with portholes to outside links such as Friendly Street and the SA Writers' Centre.

We are all very thrilled to see this site finally take shape at the University of South Australia and look forward to providing our audience with new links and stories in the future.
